New month and the days are getting longer. Today we actually had daylight for more than 8 hours!

February is the month for winter sports (at least in my country). And when you've been out all day in the snow, you wan't - hot cocoa!

This bead just makes me feel like it's THE BEAD today. This bead is "boss." Are the kids still saying that? No? Well it doesn't look "sick" to me, but "whatever!" :) This large Big Hole Bead is by Amy Sims of Amy Sims Designs, and she is a great artist that also likes to focus on the charm bracelet-compatible beads. PLUS she goes to the extra effort to silver core them (I don't do this, so hers are much fancier and match your bracelets and fancy charms better ;) ). This Sunday is the first of Advent! Can't believe how quickly this semester has rushed by.

We've had an unusally warm autumn in Sweden, but today there was frost on the lawn for the second day in a row. The shops are allready filled with Christmas decorations and today I heard a Christmas song on the radio. I still have a blooming marigold in my garden, but I guess it will not last for much longer.

But I long for the summer when the weather is warm and there's flowers everywhere. And so I picked a flower bead for todays BOTD:

I've had some lousy couple of weeks with everything breaking around me. Computer, modem, phone... And I guess you all know how much work it is to start it all over again! Having to reinstall everything, having lost all the bookmarks etc. Thank heavens, Iäve got a back up hard drive, but it still requires a lot of work.

Each week, the Fire Divas bring you a fresh ArtFire Collection and Etsy Treasury. These are items compiled by our members with a theme in type of bead, colors, holiday, etc. We would like to share them with you on the blog over the weekend.

This week's ArtFire collection was made by me, Lara Lutrick. I wanted to show beads of one color and how a simple single colored bead could be beautiful. Now, finding single colored beads from each of the shops was difficult. My shop didn't have any so I had to choose a set with fine silver dots. Patrice didn't have a single colored item, so I choose the bat as it was the closest. :-)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual campaign every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
