Lampwork Bead of The Day- August 3rd, 2011

I love getting to pick the Bead Of The Day!!! I recently learned how to blow small vessels on the end of a mandrel and this was due largely in part by the help and guidance of one of our amazing Divas- Abigail Castagnaro of Abbielyn on Etsy.

Her work is greatly inspired by nature and renewal. I love her wearable terrariums and the one I chose for today's bead is a great example of her amazing style and desire to bring a little nature to everyone's life! Flower Glass Terrarium is shown with a gorgeous sprig of fern leaf but your imagination is the limit. The best part? Even though it is wearable this delicate beauty could also hang from a sunny window and hold a gorgeous little piece of nature year round!!! I would even hang this from the mirror in my car!
