We are a group of glass bead artisans promoting the use of handmade lampwork beads. We believe that by promoting one another's work, we all benefit. Feel free to look around and check the links on the right to view our shops and photos. There is some tremendous talent in this group and we hope you visit often to check out our latest work!
My favorite color in all of the world is orange. Such a beautiful, serene color that is sure to make anyone happy. You can imagine my face when I saw these beauties by Kitty of KittyLampwork! The adding of fine silver foil and rare reactive glass has made this pair into a true show stopper!
Make sure to check out Kitty's other work on her Etsy! Her beads include a stunning array of colors.
I am really missing the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets we have in South Florida. We have been quite rainy lately and although it is needed I miss those gorgeous colors!
I found my alternative though and it is in these lovely beads! Karen Klomparens of Giapet has taken the color from the sky and melted it into a lovely set of beads! The color that was used was and will always be my favorite of the soft glass corals- Tequila Sunrise!
There is nothing better than banding together as a family or group when things get tough! I have definitely had a rough week from the lose of a childhood friend to having to put some kittens down who were ill. I found great comfort through all of this with the support that the Fire Divas have shown me! It really helps to know what there are people who will listen and just let you talk about what has happened. It also makes me feel like doing something back for others and paying it forward!
I have to say that the Fire Divas are a group apart and really stick together and show each other much needed support and encouragement! So lets see what they are up to??
We have some wonderful news in our midst! We have two new wonderful members of the Fire Divas!!!! Juli Cannon and Beth Knapp Tyner!!!!
Juli Cannon of Julsbeads is doing a little happy dance!!! She is one of our two new members and has a great post up on her blog! Take a look at her amazing beads and welcome her to the group!
Holly of Holly's Folly Bead and Jewelry has had her fair share of butterflies in her tummy over a new class she is teaching! Lets all give her a warm cyber hug and show our support. I know that you will be brilliant teaching this class- there is also a great little link in there for artists that you are sure to enjoy!
Lara Lutrick of Lutrick Beads has shared her Farmers Market experience and given us some yummy eye candy to go with it!!!
The rest of our Divas have been showing their team spirit and mad glass skills by keeping all of us current on our Handmadeology Top 10 Etsy Team Challenge!!!
