Diva of the Month - Holly Dare

I have the pleasure of interviewing Holly of HollysFolly this month. I had to practically brow beat her into submission, but she finally relented! LOL! Holly works tirelessly on our blog, is a whiz when it comes to internet issues and makes beautiful beads to boot!

Holly's studio is in a mountain area just north of Los Angeles called Sunland. She loves being so close to the big city but enjoys living in a small suburb where she can hike with her dog daily. Holly blogs about their travels in her Creekhiker blog.

Holly was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado but only lived there a week - her mom was traveling and went into labor. She grew up in a small town due north of New Orleans called McComb, Mississippi.

She fell in love with glass beads while working as a producer on HGTV's The Carol Duvall Show. After starting her own marketing business, Holly started studying about all things glass around 8 years ago and finally bought her own torch in 2007.

Her favorite bead to make over and over is a truffle candy bead or cased silvered ivory.

Holly doesn't feel she really has a style but loves big focals most of all.

We hope you will join us next week when Holly answers our 10 Glassy Things questionnaire.
