Today is a day of promise and hope for families everywhere. Families together again, in the same place. The aroma of the holiday emanates from the kitchen..., candied yams, macaroni and cheese, apple pie, and the rest of the banquet that will be served today. Mom sits in a chair, picks up a gift, calls out a name, and the recipient responds with squeals and laughter. Dad sits in the big comfy chair, smiling. He's made some folks pretty happy today. Soon everyone will sit down to dinner and give thanks.
