Glass Lampwork Bead of the Day: 04/05

Every first Thursday of the Month our local museums offer free admission. I often take advantage of this and take my two girls to a new museum that we haven't discovered yet. This Thursday we visited the Seattle Asian Art Museum, and it was an amazing experience. Awesome architecture, picturesque setting, great exhibits.

I am still so impressed by the wide range of amazing Asian art that I was searching for some Asian inspired beads for today's lampwork bead for the day. And check out what I found:

These "Japanese Stripes" beads are made by Lluvia Brito of Uvanomos Beads, one of our newest Fire Divas. I am completely enamored with the coloring, the precision of the plunged dots (just check out the cute little air bubbles) and the iridescent highlights in these boro beads.

Be sure to visit Lluvia's Etsy shop to discover all here amazing lampwork beads!
