Diva of the Month - Eileen Snyder (Part 1)

This month we are featuring Eileen Snyder, for Dorset Hill Beads! Here is part one, where we introduce our Diva.

Eileen's studio is located at the moment in her deserted house in Maryland… she tells us "As some of you know I may have to put my lampworking on hold for a while, but don’t worry, I have lots of other goodies to list… Coming soon!..."

Eileen was born and bred in Maryland. She has been lampworking for the past 5/6 years and loves every minute of it!

Eileen loves making all different kinds of beads but says she can definitely make her “crunchies” over and over.

Eileen describes herself style-wise as a “go with the flow” kind of person. "I think that reflects in the beads I create," she says, "Whatever hits me when I turn on the torch is usually what comes out of the kiln…I may plan to make a certain bunch of beads and totally make something else…Like I said, go with the flow."

Here is Eileen and her beloved mom, Boshie, who passed away suddenly last month.
