Happy 4th Of July!!! I have been busy celebrating and enjoying this much needed time with my family!!! I have been doing a little of this and a little of that and thinking about what inspires me to make beads and murrini and any other creative thing I love doing. I gain alot of this experience from seeing how others grow and change in this art. I love to see an artist who a year ago was afraid to show her work but now loves to show what she has so proudly made. This holiday weekend has made me realize how much I love being surrounded by wonderful glassy ladies and a very supportive family!!!
So my blood-hounding around the Diva's blogs turned up great stories, a little eye candy and great team support!! Let's see what they have been up to??
Rosemarie Hanus of Spawn Of Flame has a simple yet elegant display of her signature beads. This style is definitely a style staple and you will just ooooh and ahhhhhh at the wonderful summer colors!
Holly Dare of Holly's Folly Beads shows that just because you make a mistake does not mean you can't make a good cup of sweet lemonade from it! Here "Happy Accident" turned into making some of the cutest little bead and even having one left over to donate to the amazing children who get beads through Beads Of Courage!!! Well done Holly!!!
Who's your bead hero??? Sharon Driscoll of Right Turn Artwerks has a heartfelt story explaining who her bead heroes are and why. We all have that special person who inspired us and continues to be a mentor and friend to this day. This article will warm your heart and maybe even inspire you to give props to that special inspiration in your own life!!
Juli Cannon of Julsbeads has just made my mouth water with her inspiring earthy jewelry made from her very own lampwork bead goodies!!! She and I are really separated at birth when it comes to forgetting to photograph bead items that are for custom orders- so she did the next best thing- made some new ones for us to oogle over!!!! Check out her gorgeous jewelry and read her funny post!!!
